Description
Markyrafin Pallavicini, wife of Johann von Pallavicini. Johann was an Austria-Hungarian diplomat who served in Europe, Great Britian, and Constantinople prior to and during World War 1. The manufactorer is Richard Klemm - Dresden Saxony Germany circa 1869-1916. The mark is the blue underglaze mark pictured in the Kovels mark book on page 96. The plate has a open basket weave decoration around the edges and ornate gold over burgundy interior border. The artist is unknown. The portrait is magnificiently done by a extremely talented atisian. There are no scratches or imperfections on the protrait or anywhere on the plate. There are no cracks or repairs
